It is not often that I do lifestyle newborn sessions, but when the opportunities present themselves I really do love them! Back in late September I had the honor to do a session for the Gehman family who were expecting baby #2. Tanya wanted to do a newborn session on their little farm property that they had just moved into and we began brainstorming ideas for the session. Baby N  finally arrived and we set a date to do a session when she was 8 days old, which actually happened to be Tanya and Justin’s 8th anniversary also! We arrived at the Gehman’s farm before the sun came up as we wanted to catch the early morning light coming up over the valley. It ended up being freezing that morning but these guys were some serious troopers and in the end the session turned out beautifully! Baby N rocked it in sweet antique chest that belongs to Justin’s mom and big brother was a champ being up so early and out in the cold for the family shots. It was such a beautiful morning and  sooo worth getting up super early for ;) Here are some of my favorite images from our time together!
