Leo’s Simple Cake Smash

“Finally, you have got a whole number as your age. Happy 1st birthday.”

Leo’s Simple Cake Smash was a fun way to celebrate his first birthday and the last time I saw Leo was at his newborn session. It was such a joy to see him again in the studio and see how his littler personality has blossomed. You just never know how a cake smash will go with a one year old. Some will dive right in and get them selves covered in icing, some don’t like the texture or having their hands dirty and then some don’t even like the sweet sugary taste. A cake smash will surely bring out parts of their personality and personality Leo surely did show us.

Boy, did he want to eat that cake but for some reason he just did not want to touch it or have it on his hands, so he made sure to include the rest of his family in the celebration by making mom, dad and big brother feed him. He just loves his family so much he couldn’t celebrate it on his own and wanted to include all the family members which I know daddy and big brother didn’t mind one bit. It was so funny to watch and I am so glad I was able to share in the celebration with the Benner family.
