When Amber and Matt set their wedding date, I don’t think they knew they’d end up getting married on one of the hottest weekends of the summer! It was one of those days I regretted wearing black and a really cheap necklace as the “silver” wore off from sweating and left ugly green lines around my neck. Thanks to my 2nd shooter Brittney, for informing me of this disaster and saving me from embarrassment of being known to wear cheap jewelry ;) Despite the scorching temps the day was otherwise absolutely beautiful. I loved the quaint country farm charm their day had since the ceremony and reception was held at Amber’s family’s property, The Double A Manor. They did a beautiful job bringing a cozy backyard feel to the day which created a wonderful atmosphere for guests to enjoy mingling and hanging out.
One of the most memorable parts of the day for me was watching Matt as he saw his bride for the first time. It was the sweetest thing. You could just tell how much he adores Amber. It seriously melted my heart. These two are perfect complements to each other in every way and their wedding was prime evidence of that. Simply put, their love is beautiful.
Umm how cute is their ring bearer? And yeah, his mom just had their 2nd baby a few days before the wedding. What a trooper! Now, one thing you must know about these two families is that they are really into their cars, motorcycles and four wheelers :)Don’t you just love their mini cake!? :)They auctioned off a first dance with amber. The bids kept coming…and getting higher and highter. “Hey, this guy’s got his hand raised!”SOLD!! The highest bidder, Amber’s uncle, paid in full…in cash ;)And then a storm rolled in, cooling things off, but causing a little disturbance with high winds and power outages. But that didn’t phase too many as everyone just huddled together in the center of the tent and kept on hanging out and having a good time. What a joy to be a part of such a wonderful day celebrating this new adventure Amber and Matt now find themselves on! Congratulations!!
