When I first met Conrad and Caitlyn, I fell in love with them. I instantly noticed their genuine love for one another, their extreme excitement to meet their baby and their serious love for the Dolphins. I knew we were going to have to incorporate that into the session somehow! They were going to bring into this world the next biggest, littlest Dolphins fan and they couldn’t wait!
When I woke up on the morning of their maternity session, I checked the weather as usual and saw that it was going to be gray and cloudy. While some might assume I rolled my eyes and let out a loud “uggghhh,” I smiled. I love the gentle light and lush popping colors that come with a cloudy forecast. I love that I don’t have to worry about shadows, and clients squinting at the harsh sunlight. As you’ll see, the weather didn’t keep us from getting some gorgeous shots!
The first thing I noticed when I met the Hiesy’s was that they couldn’t stop smiling. Their joy and excitement was contagious! We had so much fun strolling around the beautiful gardens at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. It was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful maternity session.
Welcome Baby Walker
I couldn’t wait to see Caitlyn and Conrad again and meet their son, Walker, who was just 7 days new. What a little love bug! Even though they were only a week into parenthood, they seemed so calm and collected. I so appreciated that they trusted my judgement and let me do my thing throughout the newborn session.
Caitlyn and Conrad love natural/neutral tones and brought in some antlers for a set-up we had previously talked about. Earthy tones are my favorite and I certainly enjoyed having some added texture in this set-up which they ended up loving.
Look how squishy and comfy he looks! 
They brought along the adorable Miami Dolphins onesie in hopes of securing little Walker’s loyalty to the team! That tiny football…I just can’t! :) He nailed it and is for sure the biggest, littlest Dolphins fan I’ve ever seen.
