I know we are well on our way into the winter months now but I can’t help but reflect on the images from this session. They just leave me feeling all sorts of happy and wishing I could go back to those early days of fall weather and beautiful colors but I am learning to embrace the art of reflection instead of always wishing for something I don’t have instead of embracing the season I am in…if you know what I mean? It is a new goal I am working on for this year.
Anyway, this summer and fall was so incredibly rainy and made cause for many, many rescheduled photo sessions. Yuck! After weeks of heavy rains we finally had a turnaround with some beautiful warm days. This couldn’t have happened at a more perfect time because this beautiful family came in from Pittsburg to do a 5K race (and their family session) and we literally had to trust that the weather was going to cooperate for the day we had scheduled the session. It ended being an absolutely gorgeous evening. Yay!
The weather was perfect but it seemed that their little miss had come down with a cold that day which meant lots of snot wiping (and a bit of snot photoshoping) during the session but that didn’t stop her from having a good time as you can see. It ended up being a pretty perfect evening all around and I am thankful for how these guys trusted me with the vision for their family pictures. It came together nicely wouldn’t you agree?
Look at that tongue! She loves the song 10 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. It was the cutest thing to see her light up when her mana sang it to her.See those little pearly whites? umm how cute are they!?How cute is this sequence of her clapping? I adore this baby stage when clapping is such an exciting thing.
Not feeling well at all but still able to get some smiles out of her!
