1) What is a Red Thread Session?
A Red Thread Session is a discounted photography session held during your homecoming or shortly after you have become an adoptive family. As a participating photographer, we donate our time and talent by completely waiving our creative fee/deposit and offer a 20% savings on any product orders..Travel fees and additional subject fees may still apply.

2) How do I qualify for a Red Thread Session?
If you have added to your family through adoption within the last 3-6 months, you qualify for a Red Thread Session! You may be asked to show proof of your adoption date given the charitable nature of a Red Thread Session. Each family qualifies for only one Red Thread Session per adoption and must sign a Red Thread Session model release.

3) What types of Red Thread Sessions are available?
     a) a family portrait session within the first 3 months of your finalized adoption to capture family portraits of your new family,
     b) a documentary session includes but is not limited to documentary portrait sessions, courtroom sessions, and airport homecoming sessions.
     c) a fresh 48 photography session to document your child within the first 48 hours of birth, usually at the hospital (domestic adoptions only).

4) How do I schedule my Red Thread Session?
Please contact us to discuss scheduling details. It is important that you contact us as early as possible, preferably before your adoption is final, to allow for as much scheduling time as possible. Because we are donating 100% of our time for this organization, we limit the number of Red Thread sessions we accept each year.
